Enable Cloudflare DNSSEC for multiple domains
Select domains in the Domains list and choose Enable DNSSEC via Cloudflare to retrieve their Cloudflare keys and schedule the registry updates in bulk. Connect a Cloudflare account first; domains without Cloudflare nameservers or with DNSSEC already enabled are left unchanged.
-
Sign up with a United States or Canadian contact
Teams with a United States or Canadian registrant contact can now complete Domain Chief onboarding. The contact form accepts the appropriate state or province, postal code, and phone number, so you can set up the team and verify its default contact.
-
Add trading names and websites to company contacts
Company contacts can now store a Company Trading Name and Company Website in the contact editor. Integrations can set the same details with
company_trading_nameandcompany_urlwhen creating or updating contacts through the API. Some registries require this information for reseller contacts. -
Export redirect and forwarding details with domains
The Domains CSV export now includes each domain's root redirect target, whether subdomain redirects exist, and whether mail forwarding is enabled. Filter and sort the Domains list before exporting to get the portfolio slice you need.
-
Get email alerts for registrant verification
Team members with domain activity emails enabled now receive a notification when a domain needs registrant verification and when that verification is approved. Open the affected domain to see the current notice and help the registrant complete any required step.
-
Connect Cloudflare to retrieve DNSSEC keys
Connect your Cloudflare account under Settings → Cloudflare Connections. For a domain using Cloudflare nameservers, open Manage DNSSEC, choose Retrieve from Cloudflare, review the key, and save it to schedule the registry update. The connected token must be able to access that zone.
-
Find domains by redirects and mail forwarding
The Domains list now shows indicators for web redirects and mail forwarding. Use the new Has web redirects and Has mail forwards filters to find domains that use those services, or to identify domains without them.
-
Follow IPS-tag instructions for incoming .uk transfers
When an incoming
.ukfamily transfer is waiting for a registrar-tag change, the domain page now shows an Action Required notice with the tag to provide to your current registrar. Return to the domain page after the registrar changes the tag to follow the transfer. -
See how many domains will auto-renew
The Dashboard now shows how many registered domains are set to auto-renew. Use the count to spot when some domains in your portfolio will expire unless you enable renewal.
-
Inspect changes in domain activity
Domain activity now offers View changes for supported updates. Open it to compare the previous and new contact handles, nameservers, or DNSSEC keys when reviewing what changed on a domain.
-
Reuse matching contacts instead of creating duplicates
When you save a contact with details that match one already in your team, Domain Chief shows the existing contact and lets you use it or create a separate one. The Contacts API also returns the existing contact by default with HTTP 200; send
allow_duplicate: truewhen you need a new handle.
-
Retrieve up to 100 specific domains in one API request
Integrations can use
POST /api/v1/domains/listwith adomainsarray of names or IDs to retrieve up to 100 matching domains in one request. This helps refresh a known set of domains without fetching each one separately; only domains in the selected team are returned. -
Change transfer locks for several domains at once
Select active domains in the Domains list and use Enable transfer lock or Disable transfer lock from the bulk actions menu. Domain Chief schedules the supported changes for the selected domains; check each domain for a pending registry update.
-
Regenerate a domain authorization code
For domains whose registry allows it, the Authorization Code section now lets you regenerate the code before transferring out. Regenerating invalidates the previous code; for other domains, use Sync to retrieve the current registry code instead.
-
Test domain workflows with free .example domains
You can now register
.exampledomains to try Domain Chief's registration, transfer, contact, DNS, nameserver, and lock workflows without buying a public domain. These test names have no registration or renewal cost and do not resolve on the public internet. -
Choose weekly or individual renewal reminders
Under Settings → Expiry Reminder Preference, each team member can choose a Monday summary for domains renewing or expiring in the next 14 days, or individual emails seven days before each domain's date.
-
Estimate membership savings for your portfolio
The public pricing page now includes a calculator for comparing regular renewal prices with member prices and the membership cost. Add your domain extensions and quantities to estimate whether membership would save your portfolio money each year.
-
Choose which domain activity emails you receive
Each team member can now choose which domain activity emails to receive under Settings → Activity Notifications. Turn them all off or select individual events for this team; the choice affects only your inbox. Expiration reminders and invoice emails continue separately.
-
Find domains linked to any contact
The Contact filter in the Domains list now finds domains using a selected contact in any supported role, rather than only as the owner. Use it to review every domain affected before changing or retiring a shared contact.
-
Apply CAA records through Domain Connect
Domain Connect templates can now include
CAArecords. Services that use CAA to control certificate issuance can include them in the DNS setup their customers review and approve in Domain Chief.
