-
Inspect detailed invoice statements
Invoices with detailed charges now have a Details link. Open it to review line items grouped by team and category, including each item's service period, amount, and category subtotal.
-
Bring linked teams together for billing
Teams linked for unified billing share one billing team for subscriptions and invoices. In Teams, a linked team shows which billing team manages its charges, and the billing team lists its linked teams.
-
Provide glue addresses during domain transfers
For a transfer using nameservers within the domain being moved, the nameserver editor now asks for the required IPv4 or IPv6 glue addresses. You can submit that DNS configuration with the transfer.
-
Apply Fail2Ban bans to proxy traffic
Enable Fail2Ban integration in a proxy's Advanced settings to bring bans from active host jails into FlowGuard. Matching HTTP requests are blocked before rules or upstream processing, and new bans are synchronized as they happen.
-
Find and use new built-in IP lists
IP Lists now separates Your lists from Built-in lists, making FlowGuard-maintained lists easier to find. New options include Google crawlers, GitHub webhooks and hosted runners, Stripe webhooks, AI crawlers, and uptime monitoring services.
-
Retry failed domain registrations
When a domain shows Registration Failed, correct the issue in its notice and select Retry registration. Domain Chief resubmits the existing request and shows Processing while it waits for the registry result.
-
Copy a hosted DNS zone to another domain
Use Copy a hosted zone in the DNS import flow to replace a domain's hosted records with another zone from the same team. Hostname targets that refer to the source domain are rewritten for the destination.
-
Accept or reject outgoing transfers through the API
Integrations can now accept or reject a pending outgoing transfer with an explicit decision through the Domain Chief API. The response returns the domain's current notices while the registry processes the decision.
-
Resolve domain issues with action-required notices
Domain pages now show current notices for payment, contact verification, transfers, and registry failures, with the actions available for each situation. Check the notice before repeating a request that may still be processing.
-
Add multiple IP list entries at once
When creating entries in an IP list, paste one IP address or CIDR range per line. FlowGuard normalizes and adds valid unique entries in one action, skips invalid or duplicate lines, and reports how many were created.
-
Register domains that require an intended-use statement
For extensions that require a purpose statement, the registration and transfer forms now ask for Intended Use. Describe how the domain will be used so the registry can assess the request.
-
Search domains without an account
Search supported extensions from the public homepage without creating an account. Results show availability and registration or transfer prices; sign in or create an account when you choose a domain to act on.
-
Load TLS certificates from Traefik
FlowGuard can now load certificates from a Traefik v2 or v3
acme.jsonfile. Enter its path in a proxy's Advanced settings, or letflowguard setupdiscover it, to use certificates already managed by Traefik. The proxy watches the file for renewals. -
Forward client IPs transparently to backends
Run
flowguard setupto choose how a proxy exposes the validated client address to a same-host Linux backend. Transparent forwarding preserves the client IP as the TCP source when the client and backend use the same IP family. The panel shows the selected mode and any IPv4/IPv6 address pairs.
-
Follow domain activity as it happens
The Dashboard and open domain pages now show new domain activity as it arrives, including a brief notification describing the change. Domain details also refresh when registration, transfer, or settings state changes, so you can follow progress without manually reloading.
-
Review mail forwarding charges and renewal costs
Before enabling Mail Forwarding, the confirmation now shows the activation charge, the covered period, and when forwarding renews. Forwarding renewals also appear in the upcoming invoice and portfolio cost estimates.
-
Track mail forwarding setup and retry verification
Mail Forwarding now shows whether a domain is still setting up, active, or needs attention while its required DNS records are verified. Open the domain's Redirects page to follow the status.
-
Create rules for trusted proxies
The rule editor now has Trusted Proxy conditions for the immediate trusted proxy's IP address, ASN, and IP list membership. Use them to apply a rule based on which upstream proxy forwarded a request, separately from the original client's details.
-
Track costs for more managed database sizes
Managed database cost estimates now cover more DigitalOcean database sizes, with pricing and included storage allowances specific to PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB, Kafka, OpenSearch, and Valkey. This helps current and predicted spending reflect the database engine and configuration you are running.
-
Compare regular and member domain prices
The public Pricing page now shows Regular Price and Member Price side by side. Signed-in teams can also see which price structure applies to them, with a link to manage membership.
