Get email when a server goes offline or recovers
FlowGuard can email team members after a server has stopped reporting for 15 minutes, then send another message when it comes back online. The alert links to the affected server so you can investigate its status.
-
Upgrade proxies from the Servers page
The Servers page now shows when a proxy has an update available. Open its update dialog to compare the installed and latest versions, enable upgrades for that server if needed, and start the upgrade from the panel. The dialog shows progress while the proxy applies the new version.
-
See proxy health and uptime in Servers
Managed proxies now report a heartbeat to the FlowGuard panel. The Servers page shows whether each proxy is online, stale, or offline, so you can spot one that has stopped reporting.
-
Explore traffic by domain, country, and protocol
The dashboard and server views now group requests by registerable domain, bringing subdomains under the same site. Switch the tables to see individual hostnames, countries instead of networks, or TLS versions instead of HTTP versions. Country results show readable names and flags.
-
Compare team and server traffic from the dashboard
The main dashboard now includes a Servers table showing request activity by host. Select a server from the dashboard to open its traffic view, then use All servers to return to the team-wide view.
-
Filter dashboards by time and request result
The team dashboard and individual server dashboards now let you choose a time range and narrow the traffic to proxied, blocked, rate-limited, or logged requests. The graph and summary tables update together, making it easier to compare a particular outcome over a chosen period.
-
Reload NGINX certificates without restarting the proxy
When FlowGuard loads TLS certificates from an NGINX configuration, it now watches the referenced certificate and key files as well as the configuration files. A renewal or file replacement can be picked up automatically without editing the NGINX configuration or restarting FlowGuard.
-
Find older matching requests in Stream
When a Stream filter has few recent matches, FlowGuard now searches successive windows of retained logs until it finds matching requests or reaches the oldest available data. Results appear as they are found, and Stream shows how far back it has searched.
-
Create and edit your own IP lists
Create a team IP list and add, edit, or remove its entries from the panel. Select the list in a rule condition to apply your chosen action to matching client IPs.
-
Set confidence thresholds for IP-list rules
When a selected IP list supplies confidence scores, set a confidence threshold in the rule condition to control which entries match. This lets you tune a rule to the scores supplied by that list.
-
Share a rule through a public link
Open a rule's Share dialog to create a link anyone can use to view its conditions and how many requests it blocked in the last 24 hours. Disable sharing when you want the existing link to stop working.
-
Search retained request logs in Stream
Stream can now search retained request logs for matching traffic instead of showing only new arrivals. Use a filter to investigate an earlier request or incident.
-
Choose additional headers to collect in logs
Add header names to the collection whitelist in Settings when you need them for request investigations. These team entries extend the default set of collected headers; review them carefully before including headers that may contain sensitive values.
-
Send proxy logs to Loki or OpenObserve
Configure Loki or OpenObserve as a logging destination alongside the proxy's other supported destinations. You can send logs to more than one destination and update their configuration without restarting the proxy.
-
Apply proxy configuration changes automatically
Connected proxies now receive configuration-change notifications and refresh their configuration automatically. Changes made in the panel can reach running proxies without a manual configuration reload.
-
Follow and filter live requests in Stream
Open Stream to follow requests as their logs arrive. Filter the stream to focus on matching traffic and inspect individual requests when investigating an issue.
