Encode and decode with one utility per format
URL, Base64 and HTML entities encoding each have a single utility with an Encode/Decode toggle and a Swap button that turns the output into new input. Base64 now handles any UTF-8 text, including emoji and accented characters, and also decodes URL-safe Base64. HTML entity decoding supports all named and numeric entities. Links to the old encode and decode utilities still work.
-
Calculate several hashes at once
The Hash generator shows the MD5, SHA-1, SHA-256, SHA-512 and RIPEMD-160 hashes of your text as you type, each with its own copy button. It replaces the separate hash utilities, whose old links now open the Hash generator.
-
Convert domain names to and from punycode
Use the Punycode converter to convert an internationalized domain name to its ASCII (xn--) form and back. Each non-ASCII character is highlighted with what happens to it during conversion, and you're warned when decoding gives back a different name or when a label mixes scripts, a common sign of a look-alike domain. When you paste a URL or email address, only the host is converted.
-
Inspect every character in a string
Paste any text into the Unicode inspector to see each character with its code point, name, Unicode block and script, UTF-8 bytes, and escapes for HTML, JavaScript, PHP and URLs. Invisible characters, unusual whitespace and characters that look like ASCII, such as a non-breaking hyphen or a Cyrillic "а", are highlighted so they're easy to spot.
-
Review run history with details per storage location
Queued backups and per-location maintenance logs require agent v0.20.3 or newer.
-
Browse, download, and restore backups faster
Working with recovery points is now quicker:
-
Register .ею and .ευ domains and accented .eu names
You can now register .ею (Cyrillic) and .ευ (Greek) domains, and .eu names that use the Latin letters of EU languages, such as müller.eu. Search the complete name to check availability.
-
Add country and request ID headers to backend requests
FlowGuard proxies now add two headers to requests sent to your backend:
-
Import root CNAME records as ALIAS records
DNS imports now convert a CNAME at the zone root into an ALIAS record instead of rejecting the import. This lets you import exports from providers that flatten root CNAME records while keeping the target hostname, TTL, and comment.
-
Browse pricing and requirements for each domain extension
Open an extension from the public TLD list to see its registration, renewal, and transfer prices, registry details, registration requirements, and supported features. You can check a name's availability and start a registration or transfer from the same page.
-
See registry email instructions before registering or transferring
When a registry requires the domain contacts to approve a registration or transfer by email, the review page now explains what to expect and any applicable deadline. Registration confirmation emails and domain notices also provide relevant instructions.
-
Follow progress while backup work runs
See the current stage of backups, maintenance, and extra-copy synchronization before each task finishes. Where available, activity also shows processed files, bytes, databases, or repositories. Progress reporting requires agent v0.17.0 or newer.
-
View usage and log history in settings
Settings now shows FlowGuard proxy usage against your team limit, logs received this month against the monthly limit, retained log count, and stored log size. Open the Usage page to see daily log volume and storage history for the last 90 days.
-
Compare answers across authoritative nameservers
DNS lookup now checks whether a domain's authoritative nameservers return the same answer. The results show which servers agree, where records differ, and when a nameserver could not be checked.
-
Duplicate a backup job
Choose Duplicate job from an existing job's menu to start a separate job with its settings filled in. Review the server and storage destination before creating it.
-
Back up multiple file paths in one job
Choose several files and directories under a shared root for one file backup job. They are captured in one recovery point. This option requires agent v0.16.0 or newer.
-
Renew eligible domains early
For an eligible active domain with auto-renew enabled, select Renew now on the renewal card or in Manage domain. Choose the number of years, review the price and new registration term end, then confirm. The added years start after the current term.
-
Set rate limits by IP, fingerprint, domain, or path
Rate limits can now use explicit buckets for each client IP, connection, JA4 fingerprint, domain, or path. Combine dimensions to give each unique combination its own allowance and tune limits to the traffic you want to control.
-
Create rules based on traffic behavior
Rules can now use behavior metrics such as client request bursts, concurrent requests, and JA4 fingerprint activity. Choose a metric and numeric threshold, then pair the condition with an action to respond to unusual traffic.
-
Investigate incidents with traffic analysis
The dashboard's Incident analysis view brings together the signals needed to investigate recent traffic. It shows request volume, average and peak request rates, latency, top paths, methods and countries, and related JA4 fingerprints.
