-
See IP location and network information
IP lookup now shows geographic and network information for your IP address, including its autonomous system. This helps identify the location and network associated with your connection.
-
Follow domain scan updates live
The domains list now updates as scans progress and results arrive. You can follow monitoring status without repeatedly refreshing the page.
-
Reconnect a DigitalOcean account yourself
You can now reconnect an existing DigitalOcean account from Bill.DO to renew its authorization. This lets you restore access when the connection needs to be authorized again.
-
Shorten links through a YOURLS-compatible endpoint
You can now connect integrations that use the YOURLS shorturl or version actions to https://tny.app/yourls-api.php. Supply your API token as the signature parameter; the endpoint accepts GET and POST requests and supports simple and XML responses.
-
Look up DNS records with streaming results
The DNS lookup tool lets you inspect a domain's DNS records and shows results as they become available. You can start reading the answers while the remaining lookups finish.
-
Include deployment links in your scripts
Deployment scripts now receive DEPLOY_CHIEF_APP_URL and DEPLOY_CHIEF_DEPLOY_URL. Use these environment variables to include links to the application page and deployment log in your own notifications or integrations.
-
Remove more tracking parameters when expanding links
Tracking-parameter removal now recognizes more advertising and campaign parameters, including msclkid and cmpid, as well as supported fragment tracking. Enable strip_tracking_params when calling https://tny.app/api/unshorten to return a cleaner destination URL.
-
Count characters, words, and lines
A new text-counting utility shows character, word, and line counts as you type or paste text. The counts update directly in your browser.
-
Save a new personal API token in 1Password
Newly created personal access tokens now include a Save in 1Password button. Save the token while it is visible, together with its name, expiration, and allowed applications; the token value is shown only once.
-
Use a security key for two-factor authentication
You can now register a security key from the two-factor settings and use it as your second factor when signing in. Choose Use security key after entering your password and confirm with your registered key in a compatible browser.
-
Create teams and invite collaborators
You can now create a team from the Teams page and invite other users by email. Team settings let you manage members, choose a timezone, and set your default team, so you can work together on resources in supported Chief Tools apps.
-
Open an environment's website from its card
You can now save a Url in an environment's settings. A link appears beside the environment name so you can open the deployed website directly; the URL is also included when creating its GitHub deployment record.
-
Sync deployment status to GitHub
Enable Sync deployment status to GitHub in an environment's settings to report deployment progress and results to its GitHub repository. The deployment status includes a link back to the Deploy Chief log. This option is available for GitHub applications and requires the integration to have deployment permissions.
-
Set token expiration and allowed applications
You can now set an expiration date and choose Allowed applications when creating a personal access token. Use these controls to limit how long a token works and which supported product APIs it can access.
-
Show resolved IP addresses in the domains list
You can now enable Show domain IP's on the index in interface preferences. The domains list then displays the detected IP addresses for each domain, so you can review where your monitored hosts resolve without opening them individually.
-
Choose a PHP executable for each environment
You can now configure a custom PHP executable for an environment. Deployment scripts use that executable for the php command, including tools that locate PHP through their script launcher, so environments can deploy with different installed PHP versions.
-
Choose shared short-link domains through the API
The GraphQL API now exposes globalLinkDomains so integrations can discover the shared domains available for shortening links. Pass a returned domain name when creating a link to choose its domain; custom slugs remain available only on your own custom domains.
-
Retrieve scanner IP addresses for firewall rules
You can now retrieve Cert Chief's scanner addresses from public text endpoints: /.well-known/ip-list, /.well-known/ip-list-v4, and /.well-known/ip-list-v6 on https://cert.chief.app. Use these lists when allowing monitoring traffic through your firewall.
-
Read HTTP checks and HTTPS redirects through the API
Domain scans now check HTTP responses for hostnames monitored on port 443. The GraphQL API exposes the response statusCode and redirectsToHttps result, so integrations can check whether plain HTTP redirects to HTTPS alongside certificate information.
-
Test an email notification channel
Email notification channels now support sending a test notification. Check that messages reach the configured mailbox before relying on it for monitoring alerts.
