Preview and merge DNS zone imports

Before changing a hosted DNS zone, review which records will be added, removed, or left unchanged. BIND, CSV, XLSX, and ODS imports can merge with existing records instead of replacing the full zone; TransIP imports and hosted-zone copies replace it.

Domain Chief blocks imports that would remove records managed by active redirects or forwarding, and asks for another review if the zone changes before confirmation. See Import and migrate DNS records.
